Troublesome Creek’s manufactory is situated in the beautiful, former Hindman High School building, built by the WPA in 1931, refitted with a state-of-the-art woodworking facility.  Specialized tools, jigs and fixtures (many of which have been designed and built in-house) keep the lines running smoothly. From the loading bay, where logs of native hardwood are brought in to be processed, to the setup room, where the finished instruments are adjusted and inspected, every area of our 25, 750 square foot facility is being pressed into service.  In the post-flood rebuild, we were also able to add a large dining hall and music hall to our factory home!
